November 2008 Chicago OIA Annual Conference & General Meeting "Common History, Global Future: AT Still & JM Littlejohn"

Thank you to all attendees of the OIA's Chicago Annual Conference and General Meeting. We had more than 80 registrants from a dozen countries - nearly double the attendance at our 2006 Schlangenbad Conference. The Alliance has grown! The Board would also like to thank the conference co-sponsors, Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and the American Osteopathic Association, whose work made the conference the success it was.

The membership held their second Board of Director elections, where Peter Adler-Michaelson, DO, PhD, and John B. Crosby, JD, were reelected and Peter B. Ajluni, DO, was elected to the seat vacated by Larry Wickless, DO. The Board elected Clive Standen, DO, as their new Chair, Dr Adler-Michaelson to Vice-chair, and Boyd Buser, DO, is now the Secretary-Treasurer. Congratulations to all!
